My Ruler Broke

Today in math we learned that you can still use a ruler that is broken to measure something. You need to count the spaces -- not the lines---not the numbers---you count the spaces.

Force and Motion

Today we started to talk about force and motion in science. We watched a fun little Disney video with lots of examples of pushes and pulls.

Happy Belated Birthday!!

This girl was lucky to have a birthday right after Christmas!!! Now we are all 8 years old.

Merry Christmas

It's been an action packed four months, with lots of learning going on. I look forward to the rest of the journey in 2015. Merry Christmas from my house to yours. Take time to enjoy your family over the next few days. 

Christmas Rotations

Thursday and Friday we had lots of fun mixing up with our friends from Weber, Silcox, and Mahaffy's classes, rotating from room to room, making homemade Christmas crafts.

PJ DAY

Lots of fun in pajamas today. We started our Christmas/early settler rotations today. Homemade Christmas things are always extra special.
